Got2learn (admin): Most likely your flap that's not sealing right anymore, try fussing with it, maybe it has some gunk on it.

lordalexander74: Is this a sign of failing hardware? The flapper and other internal components are likely original to the toilet, and haven't been changed in a decade or more. I'm surprised the washers are still functioning, they've been slowly dissolving for years now.

lordalexander74: Is this a good place for quick questions? I've got a hopefully minor toilet related issue. On occasion I'll hear a drip at inconsistent intervals, it sounds like it's coming from the middle of the toilet. No water on floor.
