I'm remodeling a older home's upstairs. all the utilities come upstairs in the same area via the same wall. My question: do I have to have any separation between these lines? The attached picture is from the main floor, where I chopped out the wall to expose the sewer pipe and the hot and cold water lines, hiding behind the iron poop pipe. The poop pipe and water lines are now gone. I want to replace them with PVC sewer pipe, Pex water line, and the biggie: I want to put electrical lines through this opening also. I'm sure the pex line and new sewer pipe are ok together, but how about the electric? (my wife hasn't seen this wall yet)
